Photographic Truth Reflection

To begin with, what I had to do to start this Photographic Truth project I needed six pictures. The six pictures had to be related. The steps that I went through to create my book were, first I had my six pictures that I wanted to be in. Second we had to take pictures which we had to pose in them. Once you had all of that then u cut yourself out then put yourself in the picture you chosen. The main thing was that the pose you took a picture of had to blend yourself in the image. Once you hade done all of that then you hade to print it out and then put it as a book. The way the phrase photographic truth refer to me as a photograph that is supposedly have to be true.
My book is mainly about Kobe Bryant. The image that I had chose to alter was with the crowed, and a basketball player. The way that I added myself to the image was tracing myself put with the magnetic lasso. After I was done tracing myself I coped and then pasted myself on the image I wanted to be on. Then I blended myself in like if I was really there. The tool I used to  blend myself in was the blur tool because the place I was in I had to blur myself so that I could blend in with the rest.
The theme that I was going for was for a person that looked up to Kobe Bryant and at the same time a player in the NBA. The reason why I chose that theme was because I want to become a grate player as him, being able to go to the NBA and be good as him. The way that my presence alter the meaning of the image by making me look like a player and a fan at the same time.
What I have learned about photographic truth is that anyone could forge an image. What I have learned new about in this new project was the blending of the images to make it look real. I like this assignment because it was something I have never done before. I didn’t find this project difficult at all because if you put your mind to something you could do it. I was very successful in my creation because I meat the goal that I was looking for, which was to make it look realistic. What I would do differently the next time is to look for the things that I would need as quick as possible to I could have more time to make it even better.

reflection

Reflection
What the teacher told me to do for this project was. First, I had to find some lyrics that I like which was Jay-z forever young. Second once you found the lyrics you had to go online to download some images that went with your lyrics that you chose. Once you have done all of that you have to blend a verse to one image. You have to do that three times. Having these criteria’s three panels, each panel had to have at least 3 images combined together, adjustment variations at least once and use a filter at least once also if you have all of that then you would get an A+.
The song that I chose was forever young by Jay-Z. My finished work looks good I think. I think I deserve an A or a B, with all the work and effort that I put in this project. Most of the time I used the stamp tool to erase something that I did not want in it, like a sign and things like.
The way that I created the image was by picking a verse in the lyrics and thought what went good with it. I tried my best to blend it all into one perfectly. Good thing that I pulled it off good. I did not create a mood or a feeling for my project I kept it simple and it kind a reflected on me. I only have a mood on just one of them only.
My experience working with Adobe Photoshop this year for my first time was a grate experience. I liked it; I would like to do this again. It was something that I did right on a computer. I really think that I was very successful in creating my triptych. What I would do differently is to make it more realistic. the next time.

reflection

What I was told to do for this project was to create a magazine cover of my own that describes me. First I pick out a magazine that I wanted to be on. I chose the ESPN logo because I play sports. The second step I took a picture so I could put it on my magazine cover. After I chose a background that fit with my picture. Once I had all of that together I put a couple of headlines and my project was done.
The way that I would describe my magazine is, I have a picture of myself holding a basketball in my hand the same level of my shoulder. I put a basketball court for the background that looks like if I was in the picture. I have an ESPN logo so it could seem more of a magazine. I put a couple of headlines. For the last touch I put a barcode. And that’s the description of my magazine.
What I was trying to communicate throughout the magazine, is that my dreams for my future is to become one of the most best basketball player in the NBA. The item that I used to make it seem that I was a basketball player was the basketball. I griped the ball in my hand out towards the camera. Also I put the basketball court as a background.
Looking at my rubric I feel that my finished work came out, as I wanted. My magazine looks like I took my time on it in making it look good. If I had basketball shots on and a jersey on my project would have been great. Other then that I feel that I’m going to have a good grade for my project.
